This week, Miss Warrens 8th grade science🧪🔬 class started exploring🗺️ evolution through a hands-on lab demonstrating the advantage of opposable thumbs👍! In this activity, students attempt tasks with and without the use of their thumbs to experience how this adaptation improves dexterity and survival.
We're bursting with Warrior Pride!💙Four of our amazing students, Addison Hughes, Allison Ashcraft, Ryland Rutherford, and Jacob Ashcraft competed against 20 top spellers from 5 schools at the Ross County Spelling Bee.🐝 They all did a fantastic job, and we're thrilled to announce that our very own Addison Hughes took home the championship title🏆, with Allison Ashcraft as the runner-up!🥈 What an incredible achievement! 🎉 A huge round of applause for all our spellers! 👏
Tomorrow at 7:30 am our Wrestlers will be STATE BOUND to the Shott in Columbus! Please show them support by lining Main Street to send them off! Due to morning traffic at the school, we ask that you line Main Street in town to show your support!

We had several kindergarten students who were caught modeling Respect, Commitment, and Pride. Great job being B.L.U.E. leaders Hayden, Peighton, Teegan, Jax, Nash, Mackenzie, Apollo, Kaiser, Shyla, Lilliana, Robert, Josephine, and Cora.
Brink has been working very hard in class and has made huge growth! Parker is a great helper in the classroom and she always strives to do her best work. Eden comes to school every day ready to learn. She stays on task and always tries her best. A new student was added to our class and Kylee went above and beyond to make him feel welcome. She was kind and helpful! Macy always does her best in music class! She sets the example for others by singing loud and proud, as well as showing PAX! Ledger did an amazing job of staying focused and engaged during music class. While his classmates were being a little noisy, Ledger was being a leader by showing PAX and raising his hand to answer questions!

This is a reminder for interested parents and community members that he Superintendents Round Table meeting is scheduled for 2/25/2025 starting at 5:15 and continuing until 6:45 in the Adena school library flexible learing space. We hope to see you Tuesday evening.
The Pioneer Center/Board of DD will offer two events in March. On March 8, the Ross County Sibs group will meet for children ages 7-12. The Parent to Parent meeting will be on March 20.
