The elementary students enjoyed their 2nd Nine Week PBIS reward today. Students with no office referrals during the 2nd Nine Weeks were treated to a movie, water, and popcorn. We would like to thank Rural King of Chillicothe for donating all the popcorn. We greatly appreciate all of our community partners who help make these events possible for our students.

Ryatt always comes into music ready to go! He sits quietly when asked and always tries to sing his best on our warmups! Gabby was committed to publishing her book report. She was given the opportunity to take a break but she decided to persevere and was the first to complete it! Jax can go over what B.L.U.E means and usually provide an example! Macy is an awesome friend to others. She works really hard and always tries her hardest. Hudson always sets the example for others in music class. He sings loud and proud and is able to carry his own part to help keep his fellow classmates on track! Kaiser has been doing such a great job in the classroom, working hard and making huge improvements! Shyla is a great example of school pride and taking pride in our classroom! David always comes into class with a positive attitude, ready to sing! He sets a great example for all those around. Wyatt was a guest speaker in Mr. Butler and Mr. Wellman's classes to talk about how his morning exercise routine has given him many physical and mental benefits. Speaking in front of peers your own age is hard enough, but he spoke in front of older students and was cool, calm, and collected! Kaleb is committed to learning and has a great attitude!

DARE Graduation for 5th graders will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 9:00 AM. Parents are welcome and the doors will open at 8:45 AM.
Our Adena Warrior quiz team participated in the Ross County Quiz Bowl Tournament on Tuesday. They competed against teams from Zane Trace, Huntington, Southeastern, and Paint Valley. Our team ended with a record of 2-2 and earned third place overall. Congratulations to the Quiz Team!

FREE FOURTH GRADE HISTORY PASS
Every fourth grade student in Ohio will have the opportunity to visit participating history-related museums and sites free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult through Aug. 31, 2025. The program aims to cultivate curiosity in young minds in anticipation of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Fourth grade students can use the pass at more than 50 institutions throughout Ohio, including the Ohio History Center, Cincinnati Museum Center, Western Reserve Historical Society/Cleveland History Center, Campus Martius Museum, and Fort Meigs Historic Site.

Lizzy could work in a group with any person and never complain. She always participates and asks questions if she doesn't understand. She has a heart of gold. Ms Reisinger is confident the building could be on fire and Oliviana would still obey all school rules to get outside and stay safe. She is a terrific at being a PAX leader in every way! Gracie puts forth her best efforts in reading. She volunteers to read and participate in class to help improve her skills. She is committed to making progress. Great job, Gracie! Paisley shows respect toward her peers and teachers. She is a good listener, always follows directions and works hard in class. Connor is respectful and kind to others.
