Third graders, Liam and Halle have been hard at work learning about the human body! After an independent dive into a chapter titled All About Bones, Liam and Halle collaborated to create a Blooket set based on the chapter's content. Blooket is a gamified educational platform that allows the user to create a variety of activities to practice specific learning objectives. Using a rubric to guide their work, these students created and then led classmates through an engaging Blooket activity where all students got to show off what they have been learning! Liam and Halle displayed motivation, problem-solving and tech skills, and an eagerness to learn and share! Way to go, Warriors!

Dear Parents / Guardians,
Reminder, student’s CAN NOT bring pills or medicated ointment to school. The nurse is not allowed to administer or apply these before obtaining proper orders from each student’s physician. New physician order paperwork must be completed EACH SCHOOL YEAR, in order for prescription medications to be administered at school. This requires a parent / guardian signature and for the physician to complete their portion of the paperwork. Please reach out to Nurse Courtney Hines via email or telephone, to arrange a time to meet, if your student needs to receive prescription medication at school.
Reminders:
All medications must be brought to the nurse by an adult and cannot be transported on a bus.
All medications must be in their original containers with pharmacy prescription labels intact and legible.
Paperwork must be completed for ALL inhalers, even if the student is allowed to carry them on their person.
Sincerely,
Courtney Hines, BSN, RN

Hey Adena Warriors! Have you ordered your Adena Yearbook yet? Don't miss out on all the memories captured in this year's book. Order before January 1st and pay only $40! See Mrs. Cormany for more details and place your order soon.

Miss Frankel says that Layla helped another student pack up their bookbag. She could tell he was upset and not able to fit everything in. She put her stuff down went over to help him without being told to. She is a great helper!

Mrs. Martin says Maddy has been an example of PAX behavior during times of instruction. Today a couple of Maddy's peers were talking during our lesson and Maddy showed great focus instead of joining their conversation.

Mrs. Martin states that Tayson demonstrates good choices each and every day. He comes to school ready to learn, he is quick to follow directions and shows BLUE choices even when he thinks no one is watching.

Mrs. Bush reports that Wynnie is a great example of a PAX leader. She does her work neatly and gives her best effort everyday!

Join us for fun, food, and prizes! PTO Card Party, Tuesday, November 21st. 6:00-9:00PM
