
For part of his final project in Technical Theatre, senior Dalton Skeens created a publicity poster for the upcoming Chillicothe Civic Theatre production of GREASE he is performing in this year. Mr. Drummond passed his design onto the producers, and they decided to use his poster design as their official publicity for the show! CONGRATULATIONS, DALTON!


The Adena Elementary Kindergarten Graduation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 24th at 9:00 a.m. in the high school gymnasium.
The doors will open at 8:30 a.m. All visitors will park in the back parking lot and enter through the rear entrance to attend the event.

Summer Opportunity--CPA CAMP is an all-expenses paid day for students interested in exploring careers in accounting.


Big Brothers/Big Sisters of South Central Ohio held their annual field day at the VA
Memorial Stadium today.
Adena now has over 30 students that participate in the youth mentoring program.
Each high school student is trained to be a mentor for an elementary student in the program.
The high school and elementary school will be looking for new students to participate in the program during the 2023-2024 school year. Applications are available in each building office.






Adena will be providing sports physicals at Adena Middle/High School for current 8th through 11th graders on Thursday, May 11th during the school day.

Senior Night will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 6:30 PM. Senior students and parents, please join us to celebrate.

In February, a group of teachers attended a technology conference. Some of the teachers took part in the Legos for Education class. The school then purchased some sets to be used in the classroom.
Today, Mrs. Smith’s class got some practice with building the Amusement Park’s The Fast Lane. Students were able to use Lego tiles, a light sensor, and a hub to do some coding.

Congratulations to Adena students Adrianna McFerren, Joshua Pierce, Chase Trivette, & Curtis Wood for placing in the Ohio Code Scholar's celebration awards for their paint and modeling job. The Ohio Code Scholar's program brings coding initiatives to southern Ohio students to help them build a foundation for technology skills to help them succeed in an everchanging future. Students were presented the award by droid builder Tim O'Sullivan.
