For the month of May, it’s Hallway Wars time! The K-2 hallway is going head-to-head with the 3-5 hallway to see who can rack up the most B.L.U.E. Leader awards. 🏆 The hallway with the most points will score a special surprise.
Right now, the competition is super close, so keep showing those amazing behaviors and earning those awards!

Our 7th grade students recently embarked on an enriching History Walk through Frankfort and the surrounding community! 🚶♀️🚶♂️ What an incredible opportunity to connect with our local heritage and learn about the fascinating stories that shaped our town.
A huge thank you to Mr. Joe Junk for leading our students on this insightful tour! Your expertise and passion truly brought history to life. 🙌
We also extend our sincere gratitude to the generous individuals who opened their homes to share their rich history with our students. Your willingness to share your stories made this experience truly special. ❤️
And a special thank you to all the local experts who lent their knowledge of our historical landmarks. From the way glaciers paved our land to the brave military vets of WWI and WWII, the unique indigenous plants, significant Underground Railroad stops, the stunning stained glass artistry in our local churches, connections to former presidents, and other cherished landmarks – our students learned so much! 🤯
This immersive experience was all about building pride in our community and fostering a deeper appreciation for our local roots. We are so proud of our students for their curiosity and engagement! 🏛️🌳🇺🇸

Tonight's baseball and softball games have been POSTPONED until May 8th.
As part of our continued commitment to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), we take pride in teaching and reinforcing positive behaviors throughout our school day. One outstanding example of this is the initiative shown by our dedicated first grade lunch duty staff—Mrs. Judy Smith, Mrs. Norris, and Mrs. Junk—who created the Golden Spoon Award to encourage respectful and responsible behavior in the lunchroom.
With the support of Mrs. Lusk, who designed a beautifully crafted trophy, the Golden Spoon Award has become a meaningful part of our lunchtime routine. Each day, our staff reviews cafeteria rules and expectations with students, actively monitors behavior, and recognizes the table that best exemplifies positive conduct and cleanliness.
At the end of lunch, the Golden Spoon trophy is awarded to the winning table, who also earns the privilege of lining up first. A daily tracking chart records each table’s victories, and at the end of the month, the table with the most wins is rewarded with a pull from the prize bucket.
Congratulations to Table 7, this month’s winners! Thank you to our incredible staff and students for creating a positive and respectful lunchtime environment.
To honor the unwavering efforts of our staff, school will be canceled on Friday, May 9th, 2025.
Prom tickets are on sale through Friday. All students must buy their tickets by Friday at 3:30pm. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.

Here is another amazing group of B.L.U.E. Leaders that have showed that they are committed, respectful, have pride and are safe. We appreciate your hard work. Our B.L.U.E. Leader Board has now surpassed the second goal for the month of April. We are now over 200 positive referrals! Way to go Warriors!
The Adena Performing Arts students are raising money for their 4-year trip that will take place in the Spring of 2026. This sale ends on Friday, May 2, 2025. If you are interested and able to support these students through this fundraiser that would be great!
