High School Graduation Update:
Governor Dewine announced last night that the mask mandate and many other COVID-19 health orders will be lifted on June 2nd.
Our graduation ceremony is still scheduled for Saturday, June 5th at 7 p.m. However, the event will no longer take place at the football field.
With the health orders being lifted prior to the graduation date, we will now hold a traditional indoor graduation ceremony. Spectators can still wear a mask if they want, but not mandated.
D44 Films will still be live-streaming the event for those not in attendance.
The senior breakfast is scheduled for Friday, June 4th at 8:00 a.m. and the graduation practice will follow at 9:00 a.m. Graduation pictures will be taken at the practice by Mears Photography.
This year Adena Schools transportation supervisor Joan Muntz has taken on a special project called "The Giving Board." Students can take snacks, gift coupons and other small treats as a morale booster and motivational inspiration to encourage students. We'd like to thank McDonalds Restaurants and Herr's Potato Chips for their support of the project this year. Students have enjoyed the program immensely and we hope next year we can continue with even more sponsors. Thanks to Joan Muntz for taking on the project!
The start time of our sectional championship softball game vs Oak Hill on Friday has been moved to 2 p.m. This game is being played at Adena.

If you are not already doing this, we ask that you please send your child(ren) to school each day with a water bottle. The district installed water bottle filling stations at the beginning of the school year. Our students are not permitted to use traditional water fountains due to Covid. The weather is getting warmer and students definitely need water throughout the day. Thank you for your support!
